Through international trade missions, business forums, and B2B meetings, the initiative creates practical opportunities for Ukrainian companies to establish partnerships, enter new markets, strengthen their export potential, and contribute to Ukraine’s long-term economic resilience and recovery.

🇱🇹 Vilnius, Lithuania — 14 May

On 14 May, Vilnius became the final destination of the international route.

The final stage of the mission continued efforts to strengthen Ukrainian-Baltic business ties and identify opportunities for further international cooperation, exports, and investment partnerships.

REBIRTH UKRAINE EXPORT–IMPORT: Supporting Ukrainian Exports

The food and agri-food sector held a distinct place in the mission’s program.

The REBIRTH UKRAINE EXPORT–IMPORT platform was focused on Ukrainian manufacturers of finished food products and ingredients seeking to expand their international activities.

One of the key tools was B2B matchmaking — the organization of targeted business meetings between Ukrainian manufacturers and potential buyers, importers, distributors, retail representatives, and HoReCa businesses.

Key Areas of Cooperation

The mission covered not only export and import activities but also a broader range of areas related to Ukraine’s economic recovery.

Key topics included:

  • development of bilateral trade;
  • support for Ukrainian exports;
  • attracting investment in Ukraine’s recovery projects;
  • identifying strategic partners and suppliers;
  • development of infrastructure projects;
  • energy and clean technologies;
  • food processing and manufacturing;
  • IT and technology;
  • healthcare and rehabilitation;
  • education;
  • integration of Ukrainian businesses and communities into European economic value chains.

International Partnership

The trade mission brought together representatives of Ukrainian, Finnish, Estonian, and Latvian businesses, municipalities, investors, financial institutions, donor organizations, academia, and public authorities.

The mission was organized by Economy of Trust Ukraine, SWECO, Business Finland, the Club of Mayors of Ukraine, UMEDA, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Latvia, and Trading House “Ukraine” in Latvia, in partnership with ALLE FOOD UA, NAZOVNI, the Odesa Regional Development Agency, and the Kyiv Regional Development Agency.

Significance of the Mission

REBIRTH UKRAINE EXPORT–IMPORT was designed as a practical platform for moving from general international dialogue to concrete business contacts, presentations of Ukrainian products, and the development of partnerships for future cooperation.

The combination of business forums, B2B negotiations, product presentations, tasting sessions, networking, and company visits created opportunities for Ukrainian businesses to present their products and services directly to international partners.

In this way, the mission held on 6–14 May 2026 became part of a broader, systematic effort to develop Ukraine’s international economic cooperation, support exports, and build new partnerships with businesses and institutions in Finland and the Baltic States.

REBIRTH UKRAINE is about recovery through partnership, trade, investment, technology, and the creation of new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.
